Disappointing - best as a car pillow

The optimal use of this pillow would most likely be as an addition to your vehicle; alas, beyond working as a compact car pillow, I can't find many reasons to recommend this particular "travel" pillow. The specifics of why I found this Camping Pillow Compressible Memory Foam Pillow disappointing:- Not comfortable as an actual pillow, in my humble opinion- Very difficult to compress; requires a great deal of strength and time, definitely a no-go for those with wrist or hand issues- After compression it still takes up a lot of space; way more space than I personally would want to give up in either a backpack or a carry-on- Would greatly benefit from a cotton cover; yet, one procuring one will add to the cost, hassle, and overall bulk of the pillow itselfBasically, in its unfurled form this pillow is a bag full of memory foam bits that provides underwhelming comfort. In its compressed form the pillow is a taught, football like object. However, the biggest issue by far is how hard and long you have to wrestle with this pillow to get it to compress to the limited degree it can be.Trying to end on a positive note, because this is filled with foam not down, it can be used by those who can't use feather pillows. The pillow's construction sturdy and washable, so it would be a nice addition to a vehicle that could be used as needed by drivers and passengers to provide extra comfort on long drives.

Pros
  • The pillow's compact design makes it easy to pack and take with wherever you go, making it great for not only camping and hiking but also for use in cars, planes, buses, and more
Cons
  • Not ideal for extended camping trips
