I thought it was a good product for the price. The main reason I bought this product over others was the large number of USB ports, SSD port and LAN port. However, one of the USB ports is defective and customer service not only refuses to replace the defective part with valid reasons, but also takes 48 hours to 2 WEEKS to respond to an email. You are better off spending more money on a more reputable brand with better quality control and better customer service. Product issues: 1. The front top USB port is defective. This can be related to the port, the cable connecting the port to the USB controller card, or the controller card itself. Instead of sending these easy-to-replace parts in for replacement, customer service requires me to send the entire unit to Taiwan for testing. In other words, you don't have the product for AT LEAST 2 weeks while they review YOUR quality control error. 2. The USB controller card is poorly designed. You have 2 different BIOS ROMs for the USB controller. 1 for good compatibility, the other for full PCIe speed. You have to choose a full speed graphics card or a tricky USB. Customer Service Issues: I had so many problems getting this eGPU to work without freezing or crashing that I emailed customer service multiple times. It took me over 2 days to get a response the first time and their response assumed I was on a MAC without asking any questions. Their replies took from several days to several weeks, and their solutions did nothing to solve numerous problems. I had to search the forums and Reddit for information myself, and I even gave customer service tips to solve problems for their prospective customers. The worst suggestion they gave was to downgrade my Windows 10 and block updates. I've found solutions to fix problems and I'm using the latest version of Win 10 with updates. No manual: no instructions, just an email to a PDF with almost nothing useful. Nothing helps troubleshoot.tl;dr DO NOT purchase this product. Don't worry about the USB ports, SSD or LAN port, they are paid for. This is NOT a good value. Buy from a well-known brand with good quality control and good customer service. Buying from this brand will bring you nothing but headache and waste of time.
