UPDATE: Two of them WILL work in the same room at the same time. The seller answered my question before I bought the second one and I've tested it now: remove all batteries from all sensors and bases. Insert the batteries into a base and the included sensors. WAITING. After the connection is established and the temperature of both sensors is displayed, insert the batteries into the other base and the other sensors. You will work independently. I use two sets for RV freezer and fridge temps PLUS outside and laundry temps. Works perfectly. I just wish the viewing angle was better. I love this thing! One press of the button clears the min/max temperature, which you'll have to do every time you look at it. I use it in my RV, observation room, fridge and freezer. and it's good to know that something went wrong that day. Was the temperature inside the freezer a little warmer than usual due to an increase in internal temperature? You wouldn't know if you only reset it once a year. My tin can (Sprinter) has no reception problems and I use Eneloop batteries so I can charge them before I drive off.
