If you're thinking about buying this, stop thinking and do it! I bought it expecting to be outdoors in sub-zero temperatures for days. This hood not only kept my head warm but also protected my face from the wind. I competed in the high school marching band competition, practiced outdoors for my kids' marching band, attended two soccer games, and shot outdoor videos. My head and face stayed warm the whole time. I usually just wear an old fleece hat I got when I was in the army, but I wear this one now. It was a great choice, wish I had bought one of these a long time ago!
