Although I am pleased that my daughter can use this very thin canvas for her acrylic entry. In the very first picture she drew, we had to ask her brother to duplicate the "pre-drilled" holes for a tiny wire frame. I don't see a small wire stand holding an actual acrylic or oil painting. The weight didn't allow it. Small canvases should be fine, but plan to find something for larger ones. A wire stand will not stand up to a multi-layered acrylic painting. (11x14 canvas barely held pressure and had to be tightened) very disappointed. But I can still let my daughter train with them I think.
