Review on Amazon Basics Watercolor Pad Sheets by Amy Mcleod

I'm so disappointed in this paper because it's a nice crisp white fabric with a moderately smooth surface (more hot than cold). But it doesn't seem to have any calibration on it, or it's very low, because the minute I applied a wet brush of Sennelier paint to it and ran the brush across the paper, the paper immediately curled into clumps and started to crumble under the wet brush. I suppose for very light washes or children's drawings (not serious - just for play) or some sort of mixed media this would be fine. But this is not good for watercolor. I'll try this with colored pencils and even spirit pencils - it really reminds me of Parchment Bristol to be honest. If I find material that it's a good fit for, I'll update this review. But for watercolor, that's a resounding no.
