Equipped with my 1983 GL1100 with under 30,000 miles and regular fork oil changes. The factory springs still had enough life, but while I was making the seals I decided to improve them. It was worth it! The bike has become much more responsive and predictable. You can catch corners really well and still catch bad sections of road perfectly. If you like driving a car with its potential, you should switch to progressive springs.
