The Revain title includes the phrase, "Waterproof Snake” but nowhere on the box or in the instructions say anything about being "waterproof”. Overall, the unit is lightweight, which is good but it feels cheap.Technical Specifications state 360° rotation of the screen that function does not work. Further the Screen Brightness function is disabled.I like that you can download your images via the USB directly into your computer.It comes with two attachments, a hook and a magnet that screw onto the end of the camera lens, yet there is no mention of these in the instructions.I left the unit on, with lights set above medium level for over 2.5 house and the battery indicator showed it still had about half a charge remaining.I purchased this specifically for checking out a toilet pipe. After a half-hour of trying, I couldn’t get the camera past the P-Trap. The cable is much to firm (it needs to be more flexible) and won’t bend around the corners. Further, you can only twist the cable about a quarter of a turn, hampering if from being pushed further around a bend. It was a complete failure at this task. Also tried it on a a sink drain and a bathtub drain but could get it into the p-trap. I then tried it in an 4” wide exhaust fan vent tube, but it could not make it past the first bend. For fun, I took it out into the desert and stuck it in multiple critter holes, but it never went in more then a couple of inches, stopping at any bend.The bottom line. If you have a very straight and clear of any debris opening to inspect it would probably work well, but for most practical uses, which usually have curves and bends, it fails badly.
