Less than expected.
It's ok but they are much narrower (in depth) than I expected. I have bought several winter bags/bins but this one is smaller than I thought it would be. You can fit 1 sweater here if you are not as short as my mum - 4ft 11in and 95lbs then there is room for 2 (fine knit sweaters). I agree with the person who mentioned that the zipper isn't that easy if you have arthritis or just don't have the patience or time ^!^ It's just a bit tight. For many, this size and the zipper may work for others. try another brand.
