I've been using fuel injector cleaners for over 30 years. I've been using Chevron Techron for over 20 years after every oil change. It cleans and restores the engine power delivery. I can hear the knocks and pings gone on an uphill, hesitation on acceleration gone too. Engine runs quieter as well.Ive been using it on my old ford ranger since it had 47k miles. The injectors were still good when I pulled the heads at 230,000 miles for lifter replacement (wasnt needed, turned out the distributor came loose was the cause of power loss). We also found the valves and heads were so clean that we both didnt believe the engine had 230k miles. My buddy's bronco with much less mileage that was never treated with injector cleaner had to replace several injectors when it ran badly.I try to treat all of our cars with it after every oil change. But recently costco stopped carrying it so I skipped it for about 20k miles. I started to feel some loss of power, a little hesitation and some rough idling from our 2017 sienna and 2004 4runner. So I bought a 4 pack from revain, pop a bottle in each and half a tank later all those symptoms are gone. The sienna went from 19mpg back to 20+ from our last fill up.It definitely works and it saves money in the long run.
