It's pretty easy to use! He misses about 2 shots out of 10. If he doesn't fire, I just try to move him away from me. The block must be level with the surface you are pushing off from. For example, most training grounds will direct you to an AstroTurf patch that is 1-2 inches off the ground. I will place the device at least 6 feet away from me but will elevate it on the rectangular box it comes in. I found that to be the ideal height. Even if someone hits next to you, they'll still catch your hit. Pros: - you can enter any of your clubs with lofts (it even has most clubs already built in, for example I play with Titleist AP1 irons and there were already those with lofts in the block's firmware) - good reliability (catches 8/ 10 shots) Cons - expensive overall does its job well and compared to a $1000 pro device I'm happy with its performance. That has changed how I train at the training ground. Now I can sort of break my own sticks and work at a distance. Only downside is it's still expensive but most golf equipment is expensive hence the 4/5 stars.
