These brushes are very soft but not very dense or thick, so they are not ideal for applying liquid foundation or concealer. They are suitable for blending make-up on the face, but not for application. They are also great for applying powder makeup, but they break/consume powder quicker than a regular powder brush. They are best used as a blender for makeup that has already been applied to the face.
