Great stabilizer especially for the price

Small note: Moza Mini S experience and comparison with this MX was quite a difference for me so I will refer to Mini S from time to time as it is the only other device is what I compared it to. I think the Mini S is a good device, but definitely not suitable for heavy phones. The Mini SI had a lot of trouble keeping my Google Pixel XL upright, and I'm pretty sure the issues I had were due to the weight capacity being only about a dozen grams lighter than the manual says. Thankfully I don't have these issues with the MX and I read that the load capacity was much higher so I went with the MX. I will note that in my experience the gimbal will fall asleep fairly quickly after I've occasionally finished recording but not done so mid-record, which as mentioned is a huge improvement. I still have problems with arm drop when shooting from low ground, for example when chasing my cats, but I may need to practice this movement. I'll update this when I find out. On a physical device, I like the texture feel of the gimbal. I feel more confident using it as it is not perfectly smooth and looks like good build quality. in general. It's a good weight and fairly light and easy to handle. So if you want to try more interesting camera angles or try movements, which can be a bit cumbersome, you don't have to worry about the stabilizer being an obstacle in these scenarios. The color isn't very attractive, but I can't say that it matters on the whole as it's essentially a tool. The layout of the buttons and joystick is intuitive and pleasant. The snap-on stand is a nice feature, the only downside is that I wish the legs could extend another half inch. The rubber feet keep it stable, but you'll need to make sure it's on a hard, level surface and balanced before walking away. You can also fold the stand and then hold it with both hands, which can be very handy in some cases. I've seen some people say that you might have trouble pulling the trigger with this two-hand grip if you have big hands. I have medium sized hands, no problem. Last but not least, the fact that it can be folded up and easily slipped into a backpack or tote bag is great. I have mixed feelings about the phone holder. It does a great job of holding the phone itself, but some phones' buttons can be obscured by the grips or maybe pushed inward. Depending on the phone and the layout of the buttons on the phone, it could potentially turn off the phone or even activate a button. labels on phones. With my Pixel XL, I can keep most of my body in the cradle without pinching the volume buttons, but it's a tad off-centre - which I think is the main issue with the Mini S's troubles, and the large sticker on the mount indicates which direction the camera should be facing. When I needed to quickly put together a shot, this came in handy a few times for one less thing to think about. Key functions of the buttons are easy to learn - triple trigger for horizontal or vertical hold, double trigger for sport mode. The zoom controls are right on the front and the auto-zoom is a cool feature, the joystick is well placed and has a nice "touch" that can also be adjusted, the on/off/image -/Video start button is also perfectly placed. Bummer - the boot mode doesn't allow the phone to to rotate a full 360 degrees, but it can still snap some pretty cool shots. I won't go too deep into the Moza Genie app, but you will definitely need it. You can use some of the deeper functions. You can use the gimbal directly with the built-in camera, but I highly recommend using their app. It will be a much smoother experience for you. The app itself is well made and receives fairly regular updates. There are a large number of videos showing how to use all the features and options. There are many things to dive into and that increases the value of the stabilizer. There's also a video editing app that I haven't tried yet, but that's a nice addition too, especially if you're using an Android phone, that doesn't have a native iMovie-style app. The object tracking and gesture control functions are done through the app and are INCREDIBLY useful. There's an anti-shake mode in the settings, which might be a bonus for those who, like me, don't have image stabilization on their phones. Overall, I'm definitely happy with the MX and cell phone gimbal for less than $100. I think you get your money's worth. The main problems I had with my Mini S seem to have been solved by Goodsen, who, like me, don't have image stabilization on their phones.
