I bought it for my 12 year old grandson. It was way more than expected. On the other hand, a tie in front is not only needed for beauty. This allows you to reduce your waist. He probably won't like it for that reason, but it's too much of a hassle to get them back for a replacement. If someone buys these, tend to size down.
