This product generally works well but has a few drawbacks. First, it's too weak to cut cleanly without paying attention to the position of the knife and loaf. The knife slot can be easily bent and gives different thicknesses. Second, it only cuts one slice at a time. Third, it was too small for a pound and a half of bread. Pound loaves fit tight but work well. The adjustable thickness was a nice feature. We almost always use the finest setting. This is a useful tool, especially for those who don't earn a lot of bread. It's great quality and hasn't broken in over 8 months of continuous use. For the price you can't go wrong.
