Received in the mail before the start of the study. They look sturdy and easy to use, but I was expecting something that would adjust to the size of the snack, as the item's name suggests. It is adjustable from sandwich bag size to larger but not smaller. Little problem. This was just a test run so I will be using them for sandwiches and finding smaller bags for fruits, veggies and other snacks. It just wasn't quite what I expected. A month has passed and I need to update my rating and drop it from 4 stars to 2. because the inside of all the pockets peels off and one of the pockets falls apart. at the seams. They were used on sandwiches once a day, 5 days a week. They say they can be machine washed on cold with a mild detergent and no fabric softener. I followed the instructions and hung it up to dry. After all, using it for just a month is an expensive purchase. I will contact the manufacturer hopefully for a refund. I also bought a few bags of bumpkins as I saw that they don't adjust to the size of the snack and hold up great and aren't that bulky. Update: The manufacturer reacted quickly and replaced the entire bag set with a set from a different batch. However, after only two months of use, they began to fall apart (washed in a cold machine with mild detergent according to instructions and hung to dry). Maybe if you wanted to hand wash them they could last longer but that wasn't my goal and I bought them specifically because they said they were machine washable. I only give them two stars because their customer service was good. Bags themselves would get one. At the moment I have contacted them for a refund and am waiting for a response. Update: The support reacted quickly again. They gave me return information and said they would refund my purchase and ship back. They also said that the next batch of these bags will be with a new liner. I hope this solves the problem but I think since the size wasn't optimal for my use and I've already tried two sets I'll probably just buy more Bumpkins bags that I've had good success with. Again, the customer service is great, I just can't recommend this product. Last update: the company actually refunded my money for my purchase and return shipping. Again, great customer service, but I just cannot recommend this particular product.
