Pros: Easy installation, no damage to walls, stays in place to be honest. Cons: Not the prettiest design. Neither wood nor darker metal could be found. That does the job, but why aren't there any expandable shelf styles? They are so handy! The comments below complain about how difficult it is to install. I had no problems with myself. Don't screw in the sharp screws that cut through the pipe until you've secured all four legs where you'll need them forever. Instructions included. Can't comment on how much weight they hold as I use shelving for light plates and clothes. To be honest if these are heavy items I wouldn't recommend storing them on ANY shelf. Either drill a shelf/fixed shelf or place heavy objects near the floor.
