My home office is in the basement and it's getting cold since I live in New York and it's already December. I have this heater to keep my feet and legs warm while I work and it works great. It's small and very portable, especially with a handle on the back to easily move it from one room to another, but the heat is very strong and warm. Heat naturally rises, so when I use it to warm my feet and legs, my whole body naturally warms up too, especially when I have it under my standing desk. It has fan mode, low temperature mode and high temperature mode. It's pretty quiet and you can change the temperature/intensity mode with a dial too. What I love about this heater is the safety tip feature where it will automatically shut off if it tips over or if you pick it up to move to another room. As I mentioned before, this is a simple, small, portable, yet powerful heater. Highly recommended.
