I think the reason for the mixed reviews is that there are multiple sellers on the listing. Some sellers are better than others, so I recommend checking seller ratings and reviews before pulling the trigger, especially for those computer/electronics components that have a range of sellers. What I bought from Austin Power is a genuine Dell charger, it was packaged and delivered well and works great with my Dell XPS 9530 laptop. As with the original charger, the charging box does get warm with use but that's it expected. Highly recommended.
