What can I say? I laughed then I cried. I almost sent the little guy back. It's incredibly broken out of the box. They actually take the entire top and bend it into a U shape to fit in the box. How about a taller box? It literally took me an hour and a half to attach each branch individually, separate each small branch and bend them in the direction they were supposed to go. Apply a moisturizer first! Your hands may bleed! The branches are not soft. I only ordered the 36" because she wouldn't let me choose the larger one. 90 minutes and a few drinks, I got halfway there and then had to deal with the curvature. I read all the reviews and most said that it went wrong too. Why that? There's no reason for that. The bottom is in some kind of cement. It's heavy, which helps keep it from tipping over unless you have a cat like me. Good luck! The baggy sack wrapped around the bottom was put on by someone in a very big hurry this had to be adjusted but I did and had to find a container to slide it in so I could hold it straight I have a small one found a silver bucket. It's too small but it makes me laugh at anything but that tree so it's something. I'm attaching pictures so you can see how the Christmas miracle can be accomplished! In the photo before that I was walking from laughter about to cry. uh why. And you will see how crooked it is! This is bad. Then there's a photo of some of the branches below and my cat stares at it, trying its best not to laugh. Still pretty sad but if you buy this tree don't give up. Keep applying hand cream and insisting. You will be pleasantly surprised! Finally the end result, undecorated and then embellished. If you take the time, this tree is worth it!
