The primary reason I decided to purchase this watch was so that I could track my activity level while playing sports. It turns out that this watch is not particularly ideal for use in the gym because it can only keep track of the total amount of time spent working out. There is no workout log to be found here. For other types of sports, the watch calculates calorie consumption (it enables you to determine the daily consumption with a greater degree of accuracy, although I'm not entirely certain about this figure), in addition to the route, time, and other relevant details. On the other hand, there are a multitude of third-party watch apps that are better suited to a variety of sports. It turns out that wearing this watch for purposes other than workouts was also a very convenient option. I decided to invest in a leather belt (the original) with a magnetic clasp (which is analogous to a Milanese loop) because it is both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The Milanese loop strap is particularly fascinating because it has a wonderful appearance and can be used for any event; however, because I don't want to risk it with shirts, I'm saving the belt for the warmer months. The silicone strap is much more user-friendly, in my opinion, compared to the nylon one, which I did not like at all. You can do a lot of things without having to take the phone out of your pocket, but there is not enough independence with this accessory. In general, this device is a good addition to the iPhone because it is a universal accessory. You still need to keep your phone on you at all times, especially while you're participating in sports (and Apple is promoting this watch as a device for sports). Although it won't be feasible to construct a complete analysis based on the data collected from activity monitoring, the built-in reminder capabilities will encourage you to keep moving. In my opinion, this is the most important aspect of this watch at the present time. Very quickly, you will be able to determine how many steps you take on average with a different daily routine. After this, the watch will only be of interest to you as a trainer that reminds you of the activity that you missed. It has come to my attention that, ever since this watch was made available to me, I haven't put any of the others on my wrist. (If you don't put it on, the figures on activity are going to be skewed the moment you start counting.)
