Bought this brush and dustpan combo to clean hard to reach places that are hard to reach with a vacuum (e.g. under a table and at the end of a table). ) and places that only occasionally need a light cleaning without having to pull out a large vacuum cleaner (car, under garage shelves, etc.). The price is right and the broom is very well built and solid. BUT: The bristles are too stiff and the angle of the brush makes it difficult to use. The bristles are so hard and tightly packed that whatever you try to brush they simply scrape up and drive into the dustpan. It's really ridiculous how the brush just glides over dirt, paper, dust, etc., barely moving the junk to where you want it in the pile. whether you press hard or soft (try both). The problem affects carpets, ceramic tiles and cement. The straight angle of the brush makes tedious work more difficult, cumbersome and uncomfortable. I'm giving this combo two stars because it feels really solid and well built. Maybe they work for someone else, but not for me.
