Review on 🧲 Optimized Reloading Media Separator - Frankford Arsenal Platinum Series by Drew Gengler

This is exactly what it claims to be. Works like most dry separators and allows the same unit to be used with wet drums. Sounds great and would be if there weren't some design flaws that are quite annoying to use. First, everything is made out of fairly thin and flexible plastic and looks and feels cheap. The only solid part is the basket which you can twist to flip it over and it has such a strong rubber clasp that I have a hard time opening and closing it every time. The entire latch assembly is only on one half of the basket so nothing helps open the basket even after you've opened the latch! Stupid design! The handles for folding the basket snap into place during assembly and are not firmly fixed. And they're both only attached to one side of the basket, which is even more annoying. Again, they look cheap. I reload about 8,000 to 10,000 rounds a year, so my equipment is put under a lot of stress. I like this product but wish the design was more thoughtful or mature. The handling and durability could be much better. Can I recommend it to others? Of course! It works as advertised and does a good job. It could just be a lot better with a few tweaks. Hope that helps!
