I bought a 20 pound can of carbon dioxide from a local brewery to fill my soda bottles. A few notes as there are no instructions included. at least 20 minutes. Place two large black rubber rings on each side of the adapter onto the screw top CO2 refill bottle on the adapter. 1.5-2 minutes. If you open the CO2 too quickly and it shuts off, simply turn off the CO2 and install a safety valve on the adapter to vent the gas. Then open the CO2 a little so that it fills up slowly. Enjoy
