I like the concept. They reduce noise and your pencil glides beautifully across the screen. However, I am an artist and a continuous user and so far they have failed to meet the drawing needs for extended periods of time. The first one I used on my old iPad was mainly for surfing the web, playing some games - so basically just touching the screen - it's still in good condition. The next two I used for painting and each took less than a day. So for drawing I would give him a star. I believe if they were used to take notes the results would be similar to my drawing experience. Just a touch of the screen and careful use 5 stars.
