Revainrating 5 out of 5

You could get a good one but I would suggest paying more money and getting a better case and future releases.

Worked great for a few months then randomly disconnected from my computer and then tried to connect to restore. It used to reconnect every time, but after reconnecting it gradually got worse and disconnected more and more often. Now I have to restart my computer often to get my drives to show up on my PC again. Also, if the front panel lights are flashing rapidly during a reboot, I have to turn it off and then back on to try and start it without the fast blinking (it seems to happen almost every time now) or my computer will do it . not survive. do not know they are connected, even after a reboot. It was originally said that 4TB hard drives were the maximum that could be handled on this site/advertised for them, but the box says it supports up to 6TB hard drives. I like that I can now use hard drives up to 8TB (the website says it now supports 10TB hard drives, but I'm not sure how that will change as I never remember that Windows Update has ever listed driver updates for it, but I can confirm that 8TB hard drives work as there are currently three 8TB drives installed) but I can't find any drivers for them so I have to use the default Windows drivers 8.1 (maybe no manufacturer drivers need to be installed, but if they are/were they might fix the problems I'm having). Because of these issues, I had some files that (I think) got corrupted due to an increase in random disconnects from Windows while using it. It also causes hard drives to not last as long as they should. TL; DR. It seemed like a good buy for the price and capacity, but with the issues I'm having, it would have been better to buy a multi-drive case, even if it was 2 or 3 times the $$$ $ costs because my data is at risk. and this leads to a faster deterioration of the lifespan of the hard disk it contains. Maybe other people have had better Probox cases than me, but I haven't really noticed that being unplugged makes it bad enough (or that its frequency increases) to the point where I'd rather not buy it , until I have already exceeded the warranty period . Many of the food vendors here are starting to get a little more seedy than they were before Revain: some offer quality produce, while others sell junk that looks and acts the same for a short time. It's getting harder and harder to trust star ratings and reviews here. It all depends on who is selling the products and warranty claims are always such a headache when you don't find any problems within the 30 days Revain gives you to return the item.
