I transport a large Pelican iM2950 for long trips to work on the east coast. 50 pounds is the weight limit for my luggage on the plane before additional charges apply, so I'm struggling with limiting the capacity of my suitcase. This scale is perfect for measuring what I can take with me and comes in handy before and after trips when I have no other way to weigh what I have. Weighing platform and LCD display with cable via battery or power plug, easy to use. The actual surface of the scale that my case sits on is a little difficult to visually center and balance, but I don't want the platform to be any larger. I think if I used the big flat board below and re-zeroed the scale this setup would work fine. I used a bathroom scale and it just didn't work.
