Really hoped this was what I was looking for but a bit disappointed. I had a Bissell (hate it!) and a Hoover (cheap plastic!) so I tried this Kenmore DU2015. It's pretty good on carpets, handles hardwood pretty well, but the quirks and inconveniences outweigh the benefits. I was happy to get so many good nozzles until I realized they can't all be kept on one vacuum! And the ONE you can hold keeps falling! The rim holding it is very small. How come no one thinks about it? And why can't I turn on the light when vacuuming hardwood? The light only works in carpet mode with the brush on. Makes me shake my head It does not make sense! And the hose twists and interferes when you use nozzles. In addition, the dust box is difficult to clean. You can't just push a button and it falls out. You also have to pull it to open it. It's not too bad, it has good suction but too many inconveniences for me to love or recommend.
