Unfortunately I had a lot of trouble using the stylus with my iPad. I would not recommend it at all! First, it was difficult to turn on, and second, it abruptly went off and then back on. Third, I noticed that the tiny, less than 1/4 inch long, tapered tip of the pen was dangling and looked like it was about to fall off - I screwed it back in place. I thought. Yes, it eventually fell off at an unknown time, and since it was so small it was impossible to find. This was six weeks after delivery, so past the return period. Tried product support but not connected to anyone, just a blank screen. I can just walk into an Apple Store and buy an Apple product, which I should have done.
