Nose pads have helped me with my glasses what cough. Pretty hard. Now I've tried different ones. They seem very effective, but the textured pattern that keeps them from slipping is too rough for the skin on my nose and I soon have an open sore. I like the glue on them more than others I've tried. it's not that sticky and in the summer the glue itself became a problem as it kind of melted. and pads with such glue were very difficult to remove as the glue left a huge sticky residue. I only tried them for a few days and again the texture on the rubber was too much for me. But they were very easy to remove. The glue seems thick enough, but not "too strong". My next pair of glasses will have adjustable nose pads and I hope this will be the best solution to this problem. I just haven't found any nose pads that work well.
