Review on 🚗 Hella Supertone High Tone Horn H31631021: 12V Single Horn with Red Protective Grill by Matthias Foxx

Installed them on my Prius today (no relay really needed). Tried them out in the backyard (stray cats felt the urge to urinate) and went down the fun route. A few hours later, I was stuck on a one-way street because some idiot was trying to walk the sidewalk in the opposite direction. Then he decided to turn left and honked his horn, telling me to move out of the way. He ended up getting tired of banging on the steering wheel and he rolled down the window to speak animatedly to me...then I honked the horn. He jumped up and hit his head, instantly forgetting what he was about to say. HELLA against Road Rager – 1:0. I'm still giggling a bit :) A few words on the sound itself. This is by no means a "big setup sound", you need an air horn for that. It is also not a pleasant sound in any way, shape or form. It sounds like seven trumpets are playing at the same time, so be careful - if you lie on the horn for a long time it can wake the dead. In short, a sickeningly loud squeak that is absolutely impossible to ignore, either voluntarily or involuntarily.
