Review on πŸ“¦ Nanuk 920 Waterproof Hard Case with Foam Insert - Black: The Ultimate Protection Solution by Emma Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pelican Who.? Nanook is probably bothering the Pelican people. . .

. And the people in the Pelican factory should be. convinced me with a purchase In terms of quality and durability, sorry Pelican - Nanook smokes the competition - The best thing is the price difference. I was skeptical that Nanook could even come close to quality by offering cases at prices well below the Pelican, but it changed my mind. Nanook changed that for us working-class people. GN's quality and design surpasses the more established brands on the market and the 920 is a great case that I now entrust to carry and store my most prized cameras and lenses. Simply put, the design and versatility are just better. It's not like I can save a few bucks and sacrifice quality - not only did I save more money, but I found the Nanuk to be better in terms of design, style, weight and durability. FOR AGAINST? Only on a personal level; I wish I had bought more of these when I was gathering my drawer and storage inventory many years ago. I will stick with my pelican arsenal as they are great. But from now on Nanuk is my choice for new inventory as I think they are much better and superior than Pelican and other more expensive cases. My advice: keep an eye on price fluctuations and check options. Rest assured that you won't be disappointed with Nanook (even if you're a dedicated Pelican). Your prices fluctuate so often that a sharp drop in price can ruin your mood. But even if you pay the top price, it's still a good investment.
