So far these mics are working very well. It actually uses two lavalier microphones with a single connection, allowing two people to be recorded without having to stay close to the same microphone or having two inputs on the device used for recording. The cables for this product are very long. Really very long. 196 inches is a lot more than I thought it would be until I got it out and used it. I was able to use a microphone on my computer and my daughter went to another room to use another. The kit includes two adapters that allow you to use it in almost any situation, as long as you have a 3.5mm input. It worked on my computer with an adapter and actually worked on my phone with or without a phone adapter. It's impossible to be 100% sure that it will work on every device without extensive testing, but it seems like a PC adapter should work on pretty much anything as it seems to boil it down to a single audio channel. Overall a pretty great mic for the price.
