Wonderful Product in Networking Products

Bought a set of two camping devices in which we have a permanent platform. Our RV is about 3/4 mile from the club. We've given up pretty much every possibility of the internet so far. However, since we work in the IT industry and know the brand name of this product in this field, we decided to give it a try. After consulting with the campsite owner and getting his permission, I installed the first station in the office and pointed to our camper. Then set up another tree station about 25 feet from our RV. The structure seemed confusing at first, but turned out to be easy in the end. Once that was done I was able to get internet over the cable from the station. Since I needed WiFi, I used an old generic router I had at home to broadcast my own SSID. This link works so well that I was able to start streaming to my Roku device with minimal initial buffering and no movie night breaks. Just a tip: you need line of sight to work. Small disruptions aren't usually a problem, but line of sight works best. Throughput on this setup approached 60 Mbps over the distance. Absolutely wonderful product that has been working great for almost two months now. If you're having trouble setting it up, there are plenty of step-by-step how-to videos on YouTube. I recommend this product to anyone searching the internet at long distance.
