Good. I bought my little tube in 2015 (yes, almost 4 years ago) and have been using it sporadically for years, more preventively than usual. However, yesterday's events made me write a positive review about him. The main lock on my property was outside locked in the South Florida elements for at least a few years, and during that time it not only survived Hurricane Irma, but was never used (ie, unlocked). Even though the key was inserted, it didn't turn. I didn't want to wait, and I really didn't want to spend $$$ and buy a bolt cutter, so I did a little research and went back there with this little pipe and hammer. Smeared the holes, waited, slammed the lock, turned the key in the lock. Repeated a few times and voila! it worked. The lock still doesn't work like clockwork, but whatever, I took it off. I don't know exactly what's in this lube, but it definitely loosened the rusty innards of my master lock, gave me access, and saved me money. The lube I have is actually so old it's not even that thin and the label is tearing too, but it still worked like a charm and really stood the test of time. :-DS So I'm here to buy another whistle after yesterday's events and while $5 sounds expensive for this little thing, it cost me $1.25 a year for 3-4 padlocks, which I paid a lot for yard saved. Sweating and swearing (of which I do enough) and emergency trips to the local hardware store so well worth it! Also, I don't know if regular corn oil would work as well, but this locks specifically claims to have "PTFE" in it, so I don't want to use regular vegetable oil or WD-40 and mess up great locks or make a worse bad situation . This is a photo of my old lube, the lock that came loose with it and the cotton swabs I use to clean it inside shows all the rust. I recommend.
