I researched these massagers for almost 2 hours. I read questions and reviews on many brands. The biggest problem seemed to be that it automatically changed direction every minute. So it has the ability to move in one direction. After trying it, I like that it changes and trains the muscles more, but for each in their own way. I fell in love from the first minute too! When I was done I grabbed my daughter and said just try it. So now we need to keep it somewhere where each of us can easily access it. In the end I'm sure I'll have to order more so everyone can use it in their own way. I was also concerned about the "mesh" coating scratching and figured I could always leave some clothing in between. But it's actually quite mild, I didn't feel any discomfort when applying it to my neck and bare skin. I have fairly thin bones and it still massages my neck, back and shoulders really well as I can control where it is. NONE of the back massagers ever hit the right spots without me trying to squirm into position and then it wouldn't stay there. I definitely give this versatile device 5 stars for every aspect.
