Cheaper the better good for wax kits

I bought this particular wax kit based on the theory that they are all probably made in the same factory in China just with different labels on them so I can buy that too best. I'm glad I did it, it works great. I got it because my daughter inherited my unibrow (sorry babe) and while I prefer the more precise approach that plucking entails and doing it long enough that I've killed all the hair follicles between my brows, my baby can don't deal with it Pain when plucking one eyebrow at a time. So we immediately ripped out a bunch of "fine hair" wax, and it worked really well. It hurts because you're pulling your hair out, but be brutal and pull it in one quick jerk and it's not that bad. My daughter now has two different eyebrows so she is happy. Tips: Make sure the wax temperature is correct. I watched a few YouTube videos and was able to see it firsthand. The consistency of honey is best. Don't let the wax get too cold on your skin. Don't take it off when it's too hot. I counted to 25 and drew. I used the silicone cupcake cases I had on hand to melt the wax so I could easily remove the wax from the metal pan. I think I might try the leg wax and the wax that comes in the thicker and coarser hair kit. By not melting the wax directly into the metal, you don't waste wax as it comes out easily. I spent a good 30 minutes looking for silicone inserts the size of a wax crucible, but all on the market were too big. Any suitable silicone will do. This did not prevent melting, although it likely increased its duration. Once the wax cools, it will peel off immediately. Finally, melt the wax at the highest temperature. Otherwise it takes forever.

Pros
  • wax kits
Cons
  • not bad
