I spent a good 30 minutes looking for silicone inserts the size of a wax crucible, but all on the market were too big. Any suitable silicone will do. This did not prevent melting, although it likely increased its duration. Once the wax cools, it will peel off immediately. Finally, melt the wax at the highest temperature. Otherwise it takes forever.
