Great little timer that seems to work exactly as intended. It is very easy to set up and works reliably. 1) Turn the dial so that the hand points to the current time. 2) Pull up on all tabs and press on the tabs that represent the time you want the device/lamp to be on. Note. Pay attention to whether you set day or night times. 3) Leave it on as the device needs power to keep correct time. If necessary, in addition to the timer, there is an "Always On" function, so you can continuously power the built-in plug, regardless of the settings. While the timer works as intended, I'm not entirely sure if its design is the best. While I think this would work perfectly for lights and appliances that you might not want to unplug often, it's not as well-suited for use with older coffee makers that need to be unplugged for daily cleaning. It's very easy to turn off a faulty device by accidentally clicking on the tabs that activate the timer. This can result in unexpected or undesirable behavior. In my case, this causes the coffee to refresh before I'm ready to drink it. Pros: Easy to use, Accurate, Inexpensive, Reliable. Cons: The design makes it easy to accidentally deliver power outside of the desired time range.
