Review on Optimized Search: Rolled Leather Dog Collar by Hamilton by Shawna Williams

I already have two of these and have ordered a third for our new puppy so I am familiar with Hamilton leather collars. The other two are exactly the same color and style, including one of them the exact same size. However, this new one feels a bit "cheaper" in the sense that it feels lighter and the leather isn't real. I'm not against fakes, I just think they should be labeled as such. It's a bit disappointing, especially when there's an older person standing next to me and I can feel the difference. I guess my "problem" isn't that it could be leatherier, but that I'm not sure it will last as long as the previous ones. I like the style and the twisted version keeps the long hair from getting tangled. I also have Hamilton prong collars so I know the company has quality but then again I just wish they would either notice the product has changed a bit or just keep making them the same. They also changed the side of the buckle which you can see in the photo. Again I have a lot of experience with their products but eventually I'll have to find another one because my older dog wears a 24" and they took that size down with burgundy :(Oh and also this new one is a bit shorter than the old one. Still fits because I purposely took the 18" to fit looser (as that's not where her leash attaches), but for those who buy the right size it might be a bit tighter than her previous collar or by comparison to another brand.
