Review on Kate Certified Unrefined Essential Therapeutic by Shawna Lamb

This is a miracle for my skin. I'm a woman in my late 30s who still struggles with hormonal acne. For as long as I can remember, my cheeks, chin, and jawline would get active sleep every month during or just after my period and then take another week or two to heal. I've tried so many things over the years - soaps, creams, supplements, oils, antibiotics, birth control pills. Birth control pills were the only thing that worked for me but about 5 years ago I decided I didn't want to take them anymore and since then my face has been a mess once a month. But a month and a half ago I ordered Kate Blanc Organic Rosehip Seed Oil and another product, The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% Solution and Zinc 1% Solution. After receiving these two products I stopped using everything else. Every night I wash my hands with soap and water, then rinse the skin with just warm water, dry and rub 3-4 drops of this rosehip seed oil into the skin. On days with pimples on the skin, I also apply 3 drops of a niacinamine/zinc solution once or twice a day, but not at the same time as rosehip seed oil. For me this combination was unbelievable. My skin looks better than ever since I've been on birth control. I can't believe my skin has changed. This rosehip seed oil is the best moisturizer I have ever used. My skin texture has changed. It used to be a bit bumpy, bumpy and dry. My skin is so soft - seriously like a baby's! I still have a few period pimples but they are tiny and heal in just a few days instead of being itchy and sore and huge and sore and angry within a week and taking another week or two to heal . . My old acne scars are healing too. Too bad I didn't take any before and after photos. The change was so dramatic. I don't even have to wear makeup anymore! I couldn't be happier. I don't write reviews often, but I am writing this with the hope that this product will help others as much as it has helped me. I know there are multiple causes of acne and one remedy may not work for the other, but since it's so easy, safe, and inexpensive, there's no harm in trying. I also recommend The Ordinary Niacinamide/Zinc Solution (also inexpensive). Having tried both products at the same time, it's hard for me to say which is the magic bullet or if it was a combination. My skin looks so amazing right now, I don't want to stop using any product to find out!
