Review on Super Bright 4PCS 578 211-2 212-2 Festoon LED Car Bulbs – 6000K White, 48-EX 3014 Chipsets for Interior Map Dome Door Lights by Patrick Cooney

I bought these bulbs to replace the bulbs in my RV dome lights. They're very bright - at 800 lumens, they're at least theoretically equivalent to a 60-watt incandescent bulb. With all that light in such a small space, it's quite a pain to look at them directly - you'll want to use them in a fixture with some sort of diffuser. The color of the light is white, very close to daylight to my eyes. They were a bit too long for the clips in my holders that are supposed to hold a 211-2 string. I think the problem with the glass bulbs didn't matter if they were too close together, but with them the protruding circuit board makes it more critical. I was able to get it to work by tilting them a bit. The current limiting resistors are in an end cap and get very hot. In general, this is less heat than an incandescent bulb, but enough to burn your fingers if concentrated in one spot. I'm a bit concerned that heat will cause components to fail prematurely, but only time will tell.
