No light, easy setup, easy interface

After receiving the (updated) device, I opened the box. Inside was a box, two antennas, a power adapter, a CAT5e cable, and instructions. I've set up many WiFi hotspots in the past, but I ignored the instructions and just got down to business. I connected the ethernet cables properly and then connected the power supply. To my surprise there was no light. At first I wondered if the device was getting power, but then I saw the lights on the Ethernet ports come on. Talk about smooth. To give it a fresh start I held the red reset button with a tight tie for 10 seconds and after a reboot I started tuning. Setup was very simple and easy. First I tried the setup wizard and it was just plain stupid. The instructions have been simplified and straight to the point, leaving very little room for misunderstanding or questions. The wizard even prompts the user to set a new administrator password. Nice gesture! Then I used the manual setting. Lots of features, yet easy to navigate. After the device was set up, the widgets in the admin panel started populating. They were easy to read and navigate, and could be edited as needed. The router works great and is great for those who are not tech savvy. The range corresponds to the price. Not stunning, but good. The device can be mounted on a wall or placed on a table or flat surface. There is both 2.4G and 5G with the ability to disable each individually. There is also a guest WiFi network. There is also an app, but I haven't used it. The admin panel is more than enough, especially with a strong password. By the way, it does NOT natively support wireless bridging features.
