Review on Philips OneBlade trimmer QP2520/20, black/salad by Michal Wjcik ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A little bit not what I expected, generally fine.

There was no blood. Feelings are contradictory: it seems that I want to use it, because it is a beautiful thing, but shaving turns out to be tiring. The first shave turned out to be mega-bloody: I shaved dry, didn’t put much effort and still cut myself profusely somehow. Then he got used to it, shaved without cuts, but the razor as a whole disappointed. This thing is not positioned as a razor for a clean shave, and accordingly, it should not shave cleanly (and does not shave) - it leaves half a millimeter. If you want a close shave, don't. I suspected that she would not shave cleanly and expected to use her as a trimmer, but she copes with this so-so. You can trim the contours, but shaving a beard under the nozzle is a tedious task: maybe my bristles are stiff, but I have to make many passes at different angles to shave evenly. And all the same, some hairs are bent, the nozzle does not capture and does not shave. If you shave with a 3mm nozzle, then the area under the very nose cannot be shaved in any way: a piece of longer stubble remains, which looks ridiculous. Shaving takes 20-30 minutes. Replacement blades cost as much as the floor of a typewriter - a little expensive. In general, you can shave faster and cleaner with a no-name clipper + a disposable gilet machine. My old, unlubricated clipper shaves the beard under the 3mm head (and under the nose too) in one or two passes. I shave my neck and where I need to shave cleanly with a disposable razor. The result is better.

Pros
  • Design and materials. Build quality. It's nice to hold in your hands. It is convenient to trim the contours of the beard.
Cons
  • Shaving quality. Long shave. High cost of blades.

Got pros: Small, light, shaves well. Cons below: No charge indicator (available in a more expensive model) Shaved hair flying in all directions.

Got pros: In principle, the model is devoid of shortcomings, if you find fault, we can say that the battery lasts for 7-10 days, although there is a model with a more powerful 2530 battery. Cons: The only drawback is the price of a spare blade.

Pros below: Husband enjoys very happy Some cons: They put the razor in the sink and the blade broke, ordered a new one. Conclusion - you need to use it very carefully, do not drop it.

Its pros: The price, the razor itself. Some cons: There are no significant drawbacks, except perhaps USB C charging.
