I always test a product for weeks or months before posting a review. This review is a testament to why my policy is so important. When my son started kindergarten this fall, I was looking for an inexpensive analog quartz watch that I could give him as a commemorative gift and help him make time. - Storytelling skills which will become more important as he progresses in school. I was looking for a watch that would fit his small wrist, have clearly distinguishable hour and minute hands, and last but not least, incorporate dinosaurs into the design. (When you're in kindergarten, the focus is on dinosaurs.) This watch met all of those needs and was affordable. My son loves the watch and wears it all the time. If I had written this review after the first week I would have given it a 5 star rating. However, after the first week I noticed the appearance of scratches on the acrylic glass. Every day there were more scratches and the dial was difficult to read. Well you can expect scratches from a small child but I have never seen an acrylic crystal scratch as easily as this one. turns off after the second week. I've had cases of the guards on my watch breaking (after a few years of use) and it was annoying as the end of the strap just dangled there, but it didn't bother me. I was wrong. The buckle on this watch is quite flimsy (or fragile), so the keeper is a necessary component to keep the watch closed. (And on the wrist.) Within 12 hours of the keeper's refusal, the watch fell from my son's hand, unfortunately without his knowledge. I believe photos are an important part of a product review, but unfortunately we no longer have a product to photograph for you. The watch kept time well, was the right size for my son and had a fun design. He was delighted to wear it and I was pleased to see him happy. If your child is dizzy, this watch might be fine to wear around the house, but I can't give it high marks for durability.
