Review on Sterling Silver Family Drop Pendant Necklace by Jewelili, 18-inch by Kim Sanchez

Bought for my wife for Mother's Day, she didn't want anything very expensive because we are saving money for a family trip, but she wanted a mother, daughter or family pendant necklace. Found these, read the reviews, gotten some good reviews about them, a constant complaint was that the chain was thin or too short. I bought another one from here before and the chain was ok. The chain was a good length on my wife, sitting just below her neck, about 3 inches or so. She only wore it twice, she wore it to mothers day dinner and once to work this week and the chain broke, luckily she was in the car and felt it fall so she didn't lose it. She bought a new necklace because she really likes the pendant. Very nice pendant, but the chain let me down. In 14 years I have bought more jewelry with my wife than I can remember, I have had accounts with 2 different jewelers, one national and one local, I know the more you spend the better the chain and some have less. With the expensive ones I bought I was worried about breaking the chain but they never happened so I thought I was safe with that too, I was wrong. My suggestion, which I think others have made as well, is to buy another chain to wear to avoid losing the pendant.
