This is a great two-for-one solution. On the one hand, you get a brush cleaner that you can use to drybrush your brush when you're applying makeup and want to clean the brush you use between colors so you can use the same brush but with a different color. You don't want the paint to remain on the brush when you move on to the next color, so use a black, porous material to wipe away any leftover paint on the brush. From time to time you need to clean your brushes to make sure they are nice and clean. . So you use the colored silicone part of the cleaner. Now you can clean the brushes on the silicone part with soap and water and clean the brushes very well. It works very well and easily and is much better than, for example, using your fingers or a dirty sink. It's great and works well, best set up to really get it. All in all I'm really glad I found this as it really solves the problem of cleaning your brushes.
