Was looking for an inexpensive way to hold yoga balls and this worked! We tested it by pulling the bar and found it could hold the weight. This is a great product at a good price. Tools used: screwdriver, spirit level, ruler, drywall screw, and 80-pound holder. Adjustable Bar: I wrapped the tape around the inner bar, but not too much to keep the bars from slipping. This way the rod bends less at almost full length and looks straighter. Durability: The rod seems to hold a lot of weight and the rod will flex accordingly. Probably wouldn't recommend too much weight with these full length multipurpose hangers. I recommend wooden stick for extra heavy cabinets. Screws: The length of the box is designed for mounting on plywood, as modern cabinets are arranged. When mounting to drywall, you will need longer screws. Also, don't forget to find a bolt or install those drywall screws where they hold about 80 pounds. Protruding protrusion: It is easy to bend with pliers. To make sure it's flush with the wall I recommend bending it up, otherwise it may take some strength to bend the bracket.
