The head itself is AMAZING. Reliable, smooth movements, excellent adjustment possibilities. However, the clip is not fully compatible with Arca-Swiss. Most Arca-Swiss records have two small screws to prevent the record from falling out if the clip is not fully engaged. THIS clamp uses an off-center spring-loaded pin to do this. This means you have to remove 2 screws from the other plates (or the Arca lens legs) as they have nowhere to attach to the head. Also, the other records don't have a mount for the Vanguard single-pin system; This eliminates the safety factor associated with older Arca inserts. Finally, my particular box was missing a 3/8" -> 1/4" thread adapter. Luckily my old tripod had one and I just reused it.
