First, I live four decades long in a surgical mask. I wear them at work as part of my job, so wearing a COVID mask is nothing new. However, wearing N95 masks, which have much lower airflow than our standard surgical masks, has caused a lot of "goggle fogging" issues, plus some of the masks I use now have a "hard" cone shape and the Foam nose bridge. that they come with (ALL brands) just didn't make it. My nose hurt and was bruised for hours. I tried a few different nose pads until I found this one. These are simply the BEST. In fact, everyone at my surgical center has switched to them for the comfort, ease of use, and help with goggles (or goggles) fogging. I see people refusing because they come shrink wrapped and look messy when they arrive. YES YOU DO. All you have to do is slit the top of the bag to let air in. Wait about an hour. THEN take the "lump” of nose strips out of the bag and just leave them on the table for about an hour. THEN carefully remove the plastic that was around the strips in the bag and just let them "set" overnight. In the morning you can separate the individual nose pads and they are fully plump, regular shaped and ready to use. I keep them in Ziploc shrink wrap. Anyway, this is my second order and they have ALL turned out to be perfect and usable. Many of our medical items are shrink-wrapped to save space in transit (e.g. pillows and orthopedic pads) so it seemed obvious to me how to restore them to their normal state (air and some time), but I think some people don't understand this and start tearing them apart when they are flat and hard. And YES, you will destroy them this way. When used correctly, this is the absolute best nose bridge.
