2 stars for disappointment. Glad I bought two. Originally I wanted to install them in different parts of the house so I could have strong Wi-Fi wherever I sat. I have an ethernet outlet in a closet in the hallway about 20 feet from my back patio and that seemed perfect for extending my WiFi outside. I plugged it in and had all sorts of problems loading the admin console. I finally downloaded it, set the admin password and wifi password. After setting it up, I kept losing signal no matter where I stood, indoors or outdoors. The thing would just disappear. I tried the second one I bought and it works great. I'll try a factory reset first and see if that works. I think it's just a bad block and I'm not very hopeful. The other frustrating part is that the documentation is on Wikipedia, which all assumes we are all networkers. Thing is multifunctional but I don't know what half the documentation says. I just wanted something that I could plug into my Cat 6 jack and have it work like my home WiFi router. They really need a basic setup section that doesn't assume I'm a networking expert.
